what's up with this "zenas" thing?
there are reportedly twelve references to "lawyers"in the Bible; eleven of which are negative; the only positive one is titus 3:13; therefore, if you are going to be a lawyer, you might as well identify with the one that is a believer.

blog purpose
to provide a forum:
1. for dialogue, discussion, and debate concerning a view of the world from a Biblical world view;
2. to be a center of communication for encouragement and support for members of our adult Bible study class at First Baptist Church, New Braunfels, Texas (and others who choose to participate);
3. to discuss and amplify our Sunday Bible Studies;
4. to boldly proclaim the good news that Jesus Christ is the way of salvation;
5. to speak the truth in love to bring others to a belief and confession that Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord of their lives;
6. to recognize that the Bible is God's inspired word and truth revealed to mankind;
7. to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Bible and its application to our daily lives;
8. to always be ready to give an account or defense for the hope that we have in us;
9. to humorously view the worldly culture for the absurdities that it presents;
10. to express our ideas, insights, thoughts, reflections, revelations, feelings, counsel, convictions, comments, knowledge, advice, attitudes, wisdom, opinions, observations;
